Exports Through November
|
The
General Administration of Customs, People's Republic of China,
has reported export statistics for ball and roller bearings,
year-to-date through November 2002.
November's
export volume was not disclosed. However, October exports
were 130.0 million units, while September's count was 149.7
million sets and August's was 136.9 million. Both the volume
of sales and the average selling price show surprising strength
compared to year-to-date averages.
For the
year through November, total exports were valued at $547 million,
6.1% ahead of 2001. Through October, the value of exports
was only up 3.8%, so November's volume was lower but the per-unit
value was higher.
