S & T Co., Ltd (Beijing) Researched and developed a kind
of new-style homemade diffraction instrument - XD-2 X-ray
diffraction instrument and it began to be manufactured in
short run. Using the computer control and data collecting
of the diffraction instrument, Bulaige S & T Co., Ltd
successfully recast nearly 40 imported/exported diffraction
instruments as well as the components such as graphite curved
crystal monochromator, parallel optical path accessories and
recurrent cold water units, which are used by many users.
The parallel optical path accessories are the company's innovative
products, whose diffracted intensity is twice or three times
higher than the former ones. The recurrent cold-water units
are manufactured in series.
The XD-2 X-ray diffraction instrument is designed and developed
independently by the company and its intellectual asset copyright
is reserved. It supplied a gap in the field of vertical X-ray
diffraction instruments in China, which improved the domestic
diffraction instruments. The product will be used for conventional
image analysis. Its precision must be the most advanced one
in the same kind of X-ray diffraction instruments.
The Science and Technology Achievements Evaluation Center
of the National Ministry of Education Department evaluated
the product on December 27, 2002. The evaluation commission
is made up of 9 experts such as Mr. Liang Jingkui, academician
of China Academy of Science. The experts sang high praise
of the research and development of the product. The experts'
main conclusion is as follows:
"The key qualification of XD-2 is up to international
congeneric instruments and it has stable capacity and can
work very well with some special software… It is efficiency,
better than the imported instruments with conventional software.
The product can take the place of the imported products in
the analysis of conventional powder X-ray. The experts think
it can be used and popularized in China. It passes the evaluation
with unanimous consent."
