After
an on-the-spot investigation in Taiwan, China, Vice-President
of China Machinery Industry Federation, Cai Weici and the
delegation, which is composed of 13 enterprises in bearing
and M & E field, reached a conclusion, that is, the
ball bearings manufactured in Mainland do have a strong
advantage in Taiwan.
First, the material advantage, Japanese bearing steel material
stands on the main road in Taiwan with comparatively high
price, 30% higher than the domestic's, usually; Second,
the productivity advantage, the annual sales amount is over
18 billion Yuan in Mainland, it's 1.4 billion Yuan in Taiwan;
Third, the advantage of manufacturing cost, e.g. one set
of ball bearings in type 6202 is about 0.30 US$ in cost
in Mainland, while in Taiwan, 0.45US$, 34% higher than the
former's.
The Federation as an intermediary will make a golden bridge
for the communication and co-operation between Mainland
