China's
M & E Exports Topped USD$95.26Billion During January
to August 2002 (09/24/2002)

Yesterday, The 3rd International M & E Products Exhibition
Wuhan opened in Wuhan, China. Mr. Wei Jianguo, Vice-minister
of the State Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation,
introduced China M & E imports and exports during January
to August 2002.
He said, during this period, China M & E imports and exports
topped USD$189.1billion, much higher than the corresponding
period in 2001, which has raised about 23.8% than last year's.
China M & E exports reached USD$95.26billion, up 27.7% than
2001. And M & E exports occupy 47.5% in China foreign trade
exports.
