Swagelok has released a larger size of its FKB series medium-pressure ball valve. This trunnion-style ball valve provides a leak-tight seal for applications up to 1,034 bar (15,000 psig) and features the company’s direct load design, which delivers a consistent seal across a full range of pressures. The larger-sized 8FKB ball valve, with a 9.5-mm (0.375-in.) orifice, offers 1.2-in. gaugeable Swagelok medium-pressure tube fitting end connections or 1/2-in. female NPT. The 6FKB ball valve is available with 5.3-mm (0.209-in.) orifice and 1/4-in., 3/8-in. or 1/2-in. medium-pressure tube fitting end connections or female NPT end connections.
