Achievements of Bearing Industrial Upgrading in Yushan County

While accelerating the construction pace of the bearing production base in East China, Yushan County aslo value the importance of capital increase and technological transformation and consider them as the main direction towards the upgrading and updating of bearing products, so as to promote the structural adjustment of bearing products, and to realize the enterprise-scale upgrading and economic and substantial increase in social benefits. In 2011, the new investment in fixed assets was 56.61 million yuan, and a total of 119 million units were manufactured, realizing a sales revenue of 1 billion yuan, profits and taxes of 80 million yuan and export earnings of 8.8 million dollars, respectively increased by 35 %, 20.8 %, 20.38 %, 20.28% and 10% compared with last year. Among the new investment in fixed assets, 30.196 million yuan was used for large-scale renewal of equipment, which help realize automation for turning parts, grinders and assembly lines of 112 production technology processes. The use of numerous new equipment and technologies has greatly promoted the increase in productivity, and cut 30% of the production cost, directly leading to 50% increase in staff salaries. The bearing quality rate is also improved, changing from 80% to 98%, thus enhancing the overall competitiveness of the brearing market in Yushan County. The total output of bearing industry in Jiangxi Province was 134 million units last year, the sales revenue was 1.087 billion yuan, and the taxes and profits was 86.96 million yuan, wherein, the latter two items of Yushan County accounted for more than 92 % of the total.
