On July 25, Hubei Xinyegang Steel Co. Ltd. (Xinyegang) officially made the first national 863 program proposal in Huangshi, Hubei Province. The project " Critical Tchnology Development of Bearing Steel for Wind Turbines with High Power " was successfully listed among the first national 863 program for high-quality special steel during "Twelfth Five-Year". As the strategic plan of Chinese high-tech research and development, 863 program is a banner of Chinese science and technology development . The " Critical Tchnology Development of Bearing Steel for Wind Turbines with High Power " charged by Xinyegang passed through the expert evaluation organized by the National Science and Technology department, and was ultimately identified as the first bach of high-quality special steel projects in 12th Five-Year. It is known that Xinyegang has completed more than 20 scientific research and development projects, undertaken gear steel, bearing steel and steel for national key projects such as aerospace etc .
