On April 12th, Qingdao Municipal Party Committee and Qingdao Municipal Peoples Government held Qingdao sScientific and Technological Progress Award and Technological Innovation Conference for commending S&T workers who made outstanding contributions in the development of 2011 Qingdao scientific and technological work. The "Double Row Angular Contact Bearing for Automotive Air-conditioning Electromagnetic Clutch" project charged by Qingdao Taide Automobile Bearing Co. Ltd. won the third prize of 2011 Qingdao Scientific and Technological Progress Award. It was known that a total of 2 top Scientific and Technological Award, 20 Natural Science Award, 10 Technological Invention Award, 120 Scientific and Technological Progress Award and 6 International Scientific and Technological Cooperation Prize were announced during the conference.
