Compared with the conventional cylindrical straight toothed spur gear slewing rings, crowned-teeth slewing rings are provided with 30% higher torque transmission, designed to withstand medium and heavy loads and impact load; the contact area is large and the contact stress is low due to crown shape, which ensures the long life, smooth transmission and low noise, with the transmission efficiency up to 99.7%; such slewing rings can also effectively eliminate the impact of angular displacement, thus avoid teeth break due to stress concentration resulting from extrusion of the straight tooth to the side edge; the use of a crowned-teeth slewing ring is more reliable for its easy maintenance, convenient assembly & disassembly, all contributing to a significant reduction in cost.
