Since this year, Baosteel has aimed at forging steel in the high tech market to promote automobile high grade forging steel series products. Up to now, fifteen brands of this products has successfully entered into the main stream of automobile brand market, achieving batch supply to customers with a steady production and sales promotion. High grade forging steel for automobile focused on automobile high-end fasteners market. Compared with common forging steel, its has a more streamlined process, leaner quality control with high strength, uniformed element, and less processing cracking, etc. In recent years, with the rapid development of our automobile field and other industries, different fastener materials are urgently needed, especially for those who can meet the needs of automobile performance and high strength light weight fasteners. However, as this kind of products is difficult to produce, we have depended on the import for a long time.

From January to July, with a continuous increase of product order quantity, Baosteel has achieved to supply in batches steadily to those main stream joint venture automobile brand names in European, America, Japan, Korean, etc. With the increase of order quantity, forging steel sale and research team have actively promoted process and quality improvement and strengthed technology communication with customers to enhance enterprise cooperation by brand construction. What's more, to show specialty and competition advantage of Baosteel forging steel, relevant technology and product joint research center are established in fastening supporting technology research and development and developing high level products.
It is said that Baosteel will also focus on the needs for high tech forging in different fields, like machinery manufacturing, energy, aviation, aerospace and military so as to further optimize the products, complete manufacture structure, and find the new profit growth point.
