Recently, 2012 the most admirable Chinese company was announced by the Fortune. Elected in the No.10th, Baosteel is the only ranking enterprise in steel industry. In the year 2006, aiming at the Chinese mainland enterprises, the Fortune put forward the selection of the most admirable Chinese company. 280 candidates were involved in this selection, so the Fortune Chinese web gave out questionnaire to 25000Chinese enterprise managers to let them score for the candidates according to the status of products and service, long-term investment value, and the reasonable use of corporate assets. Therefore, the top 50 companies with the highest of comprehensive score were honored in the all-star list of the most admirable Chinese companies. Under the severe market situation, Baosteel played full use of more than 30 years of business superior, actively putting forward management transformation to sustain the optimal results in the industry, which was one of the most competitive steel enterprises in China. Except the all-star list, the Fortune also announced the part-industry list. The ranking of the steel industry are: Baosteel, Shougang group, Anshan steel group, sha-steel group, Wuhan steel group.
