Zhejiang Continents & Xinchun Group's cold rolling project realizes annual savings of several thousand tons of steel bearings

Zhejiang Continents & Xinchun Group is currently implementing the "cold rolling bearing rings and materials project" with a total investment of 7.6 million yuan. So far, 3.89 million yuan has been invested. The project is planed with 9 production lines, the rolling dimensions are designed from 36 to 220 mm, and the high degree automation is in line with China's current industrial policy of intensive development. Once completed, it will be provided with the capactity of 6 million units of medium and large bearing rings, realizing sales income of 20 million yuan and profits of 4.5 million yuan. Compared with hot forging process, 20% of raw materials can be saved, thus realizing an annual savings of thousands of tonnes of bearing steel. Precision cold rolling technology is mainly used in the processing of bearing rings, which, compared with conventional turning process, can save 15-30% of raw materials; material utilization can be increased from the current level 44% to 55-75%; cold rolling technology can fully improve the intrinsic quality of bearing steel, and bearing rating life can be 7-22 times the calculated life, thus ensures a reliability of 99.93%; turning and grinding amount of work can also be reduced by 10-20%, which means an effective protection measure for making high-quality low-noise bearings.
