On September 23rd. Wuhan Iron & Steel Heavy Industry Group Co., Ltd. signed a joint venture agreement with SKF at WISCO (Wuhan Iron and Steel (Group) Corporation) Hotel. Mr. Zhang Xiang, the deputy manager of Wuhan Iron & Steel Heavy Industry Group Co., Ltd., and Mr. Vartan Vartanian, the president of SKF Industrial Market, Regional Sales and service, signed the agreement together.
SKF is one of world’s leading bearing manufacturing enterprises. Wuhan Iron & Steel Heavy Industry Group Co., Ltd. has been focusing on carrying out “going out” and “bringing in” strategy and actively starting joint venture and cooeration with domestic and foreign advance enterprises to promote the upgrading of its own technical strength and product quality improvement, proving strong support for the enterprise to response to crises. The cooperation between Wuhan Iron & Steel Heavy Industry Group Co., Ltd. and SKF started in March, 2012. The officials and workers has been making effective discussions and preparations for the joint venture in this one and a half years.
During the ceremony, Mr. Zhang Xiang said, WISCO and Wuhan Iron & Steel Heavy Industry Group Co., Ltd. always paid high attention to the promote safety and environmental protection work while improving production efficiency, and re-manufacturing was one important way. SKF was a specialized company in re-manufacturing and maintenance area with advance technologies and rich experience. He hoped to achieve complementary advantages good cooperation results relying on the technology and management advantages of SKF.
Vartan Vartanian then said that, the joint venture was the co-crytallization of Wuhan Iron & Steel Heavy Industry Group Co., Ltd. and SKF. SKF was willing to provide excellent mature technology for Wuhan Iron & Steel Heavy Industry Group Co., Ltd., hoping to take this opportunity to share more related technical information with the company and achieve the win-win cooperation with each other.
