Distribution Mode to Expand the Connotation of Service, Realizing Zero Inventory Management of Wire Rod Customers for the First Tiime
Baosteel International actively expands the connotation of service, and forges the premium product logistics distribution service platform in wire rod field. In recent days, Baosteel International's Industrial Trading Company signed the warehousing, logistics and distribution service agreement with Mubea Automotive Component (Taicang) Plant, tailoring an individualized logistics solution of "zero inventory management" for it. It is learnt that, this is the first time that Baosteel provides zero inventory service to the customers, which is of important significance for Baosteel's exploration of corporate running mechanism with customers as the center.
Baosteel International always refines and substantiates the service centering on the customer's needs, and forms a lot of service brand and characteristics practices. Since this year, in order to cooperate with the Steel Tube, Pipe and Bar Business unit to forge the premium wire rod production base, the Industrial Trading Company actively explored the premium product logistics distribution mode. Especially for the key products such as spring steel, cold heading steel and steel cord, on the basis of Michelin VMI inventory management and JIT logistics service, the company strived to plan and provide individualized logistics solutions in combination with the customers' actual demands.
In order to satisfy the special requirements of Mubea, Industrial Trading Company broke the bottleneck in each link, provided specialized warehouse for it, furnished it with specialized hangers, refitted individualized transportation vehicles, trained special drivers, and implemented tracking of special vehicle and special person, forming a set of standard system for Mubea 's requirements for warehousing and logistics. These considerate services saved Mubea the link of inventory management, realized "just-in-time delivery, just-in-time take and just-in-time use", and made the customer's order cycle as accurate as into days, achieving the goal of cost reduction. After the trial operation for some time, Mubea has given high remark.
It is learnt that Baosteel International will continue the efforts to speed up the service extension, service platform and network construction of premium product logistics distribution service platform in wire rod field, expand the coverage of premium product service, so as to enable more customers to experience Baosteel's complete service guarantee system, and better realize the value addition of service.
