ZWZ Accelerates the Development of Bearings for Supporting Elevator Traction Machines

China is a large producer of elevators and it has been the world’s largest elevator manufacturing, sales and export country. Traction machine, the powered equipment of elevator (elevator main machine), is divided into two types of geared and gearless. There are two pieces of traction machine bearings for each machine and the bearings are required to have service life of about 15 to 20 years with high speed, high precision and low noise. Currently, the elevator traction machine bearings in the domestic market are mainly supplied by two foreign companies. In recent years, ZWZ has been accelerating the development of bearings for supporting elevator traction machines and their elevator traction machine bearing has been successfully supported to an elevator company in Tianjin. In addition, they has taken the follow-up development of the newly produced elevator traction machines from the client and achieved localization. Meanwhile, ZWZ also completed the sample installment tests for many elevator manufacturing enterprises in Shanghai and Guangdong, obtaining the supply share and providing industry performance for full development of tractor machine market. Now, ZWZ is actively communicating with famous national elevator manufacturing enterprises and conducting technical exchanges.
