Henan University of Science and Technology and NTN (China) to Build a Bearing Material Laboratory
The opening ceremony of bearing material laboratory built by Henan University of Science and Technology and NTN (China) Investment Corporation was held on November 8th. The laboratory is the first one in Henan’s universities, marking the further cooperation expansion of amalgamation of industry, education, and research between the universities and enterprises in Henan province.
According to the Laboratory Co-construction Agreement, and Collaborative Research Agreement of “Service Life Lasting Development and Research of China Made Bearing Steel and Bearing Lubricating Grease ” signed by the university and NTN (China) at the end of 2012, the university and NTN (China) builds the bearing material laboratory together. Under the agreement, Japan NTN Group provides two bearing material performance testing machine, the university and the enterprise co-take the basic research of material performance of Chinese bearing steel, making efforts for the improvement of Chinese bearing steel quality and the improvement of fatigue life of Chinese bearings.
