Timken India Ltd announces change in Directorate

Mr. James R. Menning has resigned as the Chairman of the Board of Timken India Ltd with effect from August 19, 2014, Mr. Menning however will continue as a Director of the Company. The Board of Directors of the Company has, by passing a set of resolutions by circulation on August 25, 2014, accepted the resignation and appointed Mr. Sanjay Koul as the Chairman of the Board under the designation "Chairman & Managing Director" with immediate effect. Shares of TIMKEN INDIA LTD. was last trading in BSE at Rs.458.9 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 440.95. The total number of shares traded during the day was 378396 in over 20082 trades. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 474 and intraday low of 440. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 175265344.
