Charter members named for new Bearings & Power Transmission marketing group

Wayne, PA – Affiliated Distributors (AD), a $31-million contractor and industrial products wholesale buying/marketing group, has announced the first wave of Charter Members in its newly formed Bearings & Power Transmission (PT) division.
“AD’s value proposition is unique in this space, and we are encouraged by the positive response we, and our sister company supplyFORCE, are receiving from market leading independent bearing and PT distributors,” said Jack Templin, president of AD’s Industrial Supply division. The annual sales of AD’s 27 Charter PT Members exceeds US$2.4 billion through 378 branch locations.
“For over 30 years, AD has delivered above market growth for their distributors and supplier partners,” said Bill Childers, AD’s vice-president and managing director of Bearings & Power Transmission. “Our Bearings & Power Transmission Membership is full of companies who are looking to achieve profitable, above market growth. This is a strong team that will only get stronger in the years ahead.”
All Charter Members to date are US-based, although Childers told MROmagazine.com he is currently working to expand the group to include distributors based in Canada.

Eighteen of the 27 Charter Members are completely new to the AD community. Nine of the Charter Members are taking advantage of AD’s multiple division strategy that allows AD Members to access business growth opportunities across multiple Divisions and markets.
