XYZ's new Nuneaton Technical Centre XYZ Machine Tools set to open new Nuneaton Technical Centre in March; two-day event planned XYZ Machine Tools will officially open its newly constructed Nuneaton Technical Centre on 9/10 March. At double the size of its previous Nuneaton showroom at 6,000 ft2, this will allow XYZ to significantly expand customer support, in terms of product training and demonstrations.
The Technical Centre has been bought freehold by the company and the interior is a bespoke design to suit the needs of not only displaying a wider cross section of its machine tool range, including larger machines, but also the addition of conference/training facilities. The latter will provide a convenient location, in the middle of the country, that can be used for customer training, seminars and in-house service and sales meetings, avoiding the need to travel to XYZ’s headquarters in Devon. Furthermore, the conference room will also be available free-of-charge to selected partners for seminars, with visitors able to view machines during break-out sessions.
Says XYZ Machine Tools’ managing director, Nigel Atherton: “This new, purpose-built Technical Centre will significantly enhance the support that we can give to our customers across The Midlands and beyond. It will provide an ideal location to carry out the customer training, which comes with every machine sold, on a wider range of machines than was available previously. In addition, by having an extra 3000 ft2, compared to our original Nuneaton showroom, we will be able to have a permanent display of some of the larger machines in the XYZ range, such as the heavyweight vertical machining centres and extra-large lathe range.”
Over the two-day opening event, visitors will see live demonstrations and be able to take advantage of special deals on each of the brand new machines on display. In addition, any unsold ex-demo stock from the old Nuneaton showroom will be available with special prices. Customers will be able to view these machines, if required, as the two buildings are located close to each other.
During the event, the Technical Centre will be open to all between 9:00 and 15:00 both days. In order to manage catering, those planning to attend are asked to register their interest by contacting their local sales engineer or by e-mailing XYZ Machine Tools at sales@xyzmachinetools.com
[] The new Technical Centre is located at 5/6 Tungsten Court, Hemdale Business Park, Nuneaton CV11 6GZ. As it is a new build, sat-nav may not recognise its exact location, but it is visible from the main road and located across from the Roll-Royce building on the same estate.
