Ford honors Dana with second consecutive Gold Award at its 18th Annual World Excellence Awards

Ford Motor Company (NYSE: F) has honored Dana Holding Corporation (NYSE: DAN) as a top-performing global supplier at its 18th Annual World Excellence Awards. A Gold Award was presented for manufacturing sites that have demonstrated superior quality, delivery, and cost performance throughout the year. “Ford’s World Excellence Awards allow us to recognize suppliers who demonstrate a strong commitment to quality, performance, and teamwork,” said Hau Thai-Tang, Ford group vice president, global purchasing. “Dana has helped Ford deliver a breakthrough year, and we are thankful they are a part of our One Ford team.” Dana’s Columbia, Missouri, was one of only 12 supplier sites to be distinguished with a Gold Award. The operation supplies drive axles for the Ford Explorer and Lincoln MKS vehicles. “This is the second consecutive year that our manufacturing operation in Columbia has received the highest recognition as a supplier to Ford, and it is a true testament to the commitment of our people to exceed customer expectations every day,” said Bob Pyle, president of Dana Light Vehicle Driveline Technologies. “We are deeply honored by this recognition, proud to be considered as part of Ford’s ongoing success, and committed to delivering outstanding products and service.” The official announcement of the award can be found at Ford Motor Company News.
