Goldwind wins 99MW deal in Pakistan

Goldwind will supply its 1.5MW turbine to the site, located in the Sindh province of southern Pakistan. The 99MW project is an addition to a 49.5MW site that was completed in 2014, according to Windpower Intelligence, the research and data division of Windpower Monthly. The first phase also comprises 33 1.5MW Goldwind turbines. CTG's second phase is set to cost $230 million, according to Goldwind, and is due online in 2017. To date, Goldwind has received orders for 400MW of turbines in Pakistan, the company said.
