Shantui Machinery Reports Strong First Quarter Results Shantui Industrial Machinery Ltd. reported first quarter 2003 results, with sales and profits both coming in above last year. 2003 is the second year of our joining WTO. As most of WTO items applied in China as well as all competitors abroad pay substantial attention on Chinese export merchandises. Despite of the fluctuation of external condition of export market, the weakness of world economy, and etc., the Exp & Imp Co., Ltd. of Shantui Machinery analyzed the current situation and utilized the opportunity so that achieved the above success. The leaders of Shantui Machinery said, “our industrial machinery products has formed certain dimension, also, qualified with good quality and reasonable price in international market, rich labor resources, which all improve us towards enlarging external market.”
