The automechanika in Istanbul is an international trade fair for the automotive industry and the largest and therefore leading fair of its kind in Turkey and the Middle East. It is a combination of car show and a trade fair for automotive accessories, spare parts and repair equipment and combines all professionals of the automotive production, distribution and repair sector. For small and medium-sized companies, it offers the opportunity to present themselves at the market and to international companies, it provides access to the Eurasian market, and the opportunity to expand business in Turkey and neighboring countries. Especially in Turkey, the automotive industry is one of the most important pillars of the Turkish economy with high demand and rising investment needs. In addition, many car manufacturers discover the country as a production location that thus become the alternative supplier center for global companies. The automechanika is held once a year in Istanbul and will be open to trade visitors only. The exhibition offers an extensive program in which among others manufacturers are available for professional issues related to car service. In addition, comprehensive reports and presentations on the topics concerning the entry into the Arab market and the most important and relevant questions about taxes, legal framework and distribution channels take place.
On the whole the organisers welcomed on the 4 days of the fair, from 10. April to 13. April 2014, about 1475 exhibitors from 40 countries and 44469 visitors from 123 countries on the automechanika in Istanbul.
The automechanika will take place on 4 days from Thursday, 06. April to Sunday, 09. April 2017 in Istanbul.
