Despite a large number of spare parts enterprises in China, the market of core components and parts is monopolized by foreign-funded enterprises, part of the highly advanced automobile parts are mainly imported. In recent years, along with the increasingly strict requirements and rising standards for vehicle emissions , the development of post-processing electric control is almost 100% relied on the foreign-funded enterprises. According to qianzhan.com, the import of automobile components and parts in December 2016 reached $3.167 billion, up 14.75% year on year; the total import in 2016 achieved $29.942 billion, an increase of 8.96% year on year. The automobile components and parts industry in China has been expanding since the implement of reform and opening up, but the domestic independent enterprises of components and parts are left far behind the foreign-funded enterprises with vicious competition of homogenized products and price competition, suffering a shortage of investment in innovation and lacking weak competitive capability of core products. In addition, due to less investment in development and technical barriers from foreign investors, some essential components and parts currently are mainly supplied by foreign-funded enterprises. Furthermore, there is huge blank in the industry of general products such as engine power, automatic transmissions, electrical appliances, electronic systems etc., so are the essential components and parts with high profits, high added values and high-tech for fuel oil supply system, ignition system, energy special components etc., which are mainly imported from foreign-funded enterprises, bring the automobile industry, and components and parts industry into a difficulty position with profit ratio decreased to the minimum.
