The Shield Machine with First China Main Bearing Pass Acceptance Tests in Hefei

The shield machine CT006H with First China Main Bearing completed assembling and debugging in Hefei, then on 27, April the machine passed acceptance tests and waited on the line. It was saying that this shield will start from the beginning of May, which will be used for the 1130 meters’ tunneling construction work TJO2 of No.3 rail transit in Hefei.

CT006H Shield Machine is earth pressure balance shield admitted by Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, which will be used by China Railway Tunnel Group to adapt the tunneling work in the special stratum of Hefei. This re- manufactured shield machine can still operate the original service, besides, other systems such as slip casting, bentonite and thrust cylinder hydraulic was optimized and upgraded. Meanwhile, China Railway Tunnel Group worked with professional bearing company, they invented the domestic main bearing. This invention broke through the self-made bearing limitation in re-manufacturing industry, and also terminated the monopoly from other countries’ high-technology.
CT006H was added with mobile control and real-time monitoring system, which will gather all the information while it is working. It was estimated that this shield machine will start to use from the beginning of May, China Railway Tunnel Group will offer 200 rings of test tunneling work and industrial tests.
