Timken Chengdu plant won the title of "UTC Gold supplier"
Recently, Timken announced that its aerospace and precision products manufacturing facility in Chengdu won the title of "UTC Gold Supplier" from United Technologies Corporation (UTC).
The UTC Gold Supplier Awards have stringent criteria for judging. Timken Chengdu plant became the first bearing supplier to win this award.
Established in 2006, Timken Chengdu plant is the first foreign-funded aviation bearing manufacturing base in China. It mainly produces small and medium size complex configurations ball bearings and cylindrical roller bearings, which are widely used in aircraft engines ,reducers,auxiliary power units, accessory system and helicopter drive system. It also provides aviation bearing testing services and ultra-precision bearings for machine tools.
