Characterize the Development of China Bearing Industry in 2005

In 2005, enterprise reorganization and reasonable distribution of available resources will become more and more popular in China's bearing industry. Bearing group corperation and leading bearing enterprises that chosen by CBIA(China Bearing Industry Association) will step forward continuously. In order to become more competitive, China bearing industry should do something to promote the technical progress of bearing industry; continue the study on the common and key problems of bearing industry, especially the problem related to bearings service-life, reliability and stability; carry out famous brand strategy. If all the above aspects have been considered, the fast and healthy development of bearing industry will be guaranteed.
Predictively, following the developing trend of both domestic and overseas market, general developing rate of China bearing industry will stay at 15 percent at least in 2005. The development can be characterized by the following points:
1. demand for bearings of famous brand increased dramatically. Customers began to pay more attention to the quality of bearings, so the famous brand bearings which is more reliable and stable became the customers' favourite. Meanwhile, they became aware of the importance of brand effect.
2. work distribution became more and more clear. Owing to the higher technical level, product reliability, bearing group corperation and leading bearing enterprises still are the leading enterprises in contracted bearing supply(contracted bearing supply service: bearing manufacturers signed contract with auto or other manufacturers to supply bearings which is the necessary parts of the other party's products) market. China bearing enterprises became more competitive in auto parts bearings market, number of imported auto bearings decreased. Business of common-use beraings became profitable, such as bearings for fitness equipments, household appliance, vehicles etc.
3. international trade on bearings chages a little. Common-use bearings are still the main bearing for export, high-end bearings' export will increase slowly, high-end famous brand bearings are still the main bearings we imported. But as the world famous enterprises built plants in China, importing bearings from abroad will not be as often as before.
