Wuhu Factory Wins The Title Of “Excellent Supplier”

Recently, Chery Automobile Co.,Ltd awarded Wangxiang Group Wuhu division with the title of “Excellent Supplier” and present a Chery A520 car as a reward at its annual commending conference.
Aiming at becoming the integrated supplier for chassis systems, Wangxiang Group established an industrial estate of 360mu (200,000 square meters) in Wuhu Economic & Technical Development Zone in 2002. In the same year, Whhu division was set up in Oct.
The suppliers for Chery Automobile are all competitive, so it is difficult to obtain orders. In February of this year, Wuhu focuses on the mainframe market service and adopted a new operation way: developing ability for mainframe market service; raise the management to a higher level; satisfying the demand of mainframe clients, enlarging the mainframe market share.
Wuhu was highly appreciated by the mainframe manufacturers for their product quality and satisfactory services. After a series process of sampling, experiment, road test and small quantity supplying, Wuhu was favored by Chery Automobile finally.
In the following few months, greater achievement was made. According to the time specified by Chery, Wuhui facility delivered the transmission shaft, brake drum, hub units, velocity drive shaft, with the quotient of 50%、50%、70%、100% respectively. Later, two parties sign a contract of developing constant velocity drive shaft assemble, brake drum and hub units for more new version of cars. And then a sample of arrester was approved and supplied with small quantity.
“Currently, it is our first job to grasp and even create opportunities to become the integrated supplier of chassis systems. Meantime, we will improve our quality and production capacity to seek more quotients”, said Mr. Shi Wenhu, the vice general manager of Wuhu factory.
