Chinese Ball Bearings Free from U.S. Antidumping Tax

Dec 30 2005, U.S. Commerce announced that they will continue their antidumping tax against foreign ball bearings. From then on, this issue become the hottest topic among all the bearing enterprises worldwide. Of course, Chinese bearing enterprises paid more attentions to this topic, in that China-made ball bearings had been one of the major targets of U.S. antidumping tax. In order to make it clear that whether U.S. antidumping tax will impact Chinese ball bearings, journalist interviewed Hao wei, offiecer of CBIA. According to Mr.Hao, China made ball bearings have been free from the antidumping tax that announced by U.S. Commerce Dec.30 2005 since Sept.16 2004 when China won the lawsuit that accused China of carrying out ball bearings dumping. The result of that case had clearly proved China's immune from ball bearings antidumping tax. In addition, China have taken a favourable position in the tapered roller bearings' antidumping case. Predictively, China made tapered roller bearings will also be free from the U.S. antidumping tax sooner or later.
