Special Bearings for Medical Devices include high-temperature magnetron bearings, high-speed tooth drill bearings and high-speed abrasive drill bearings. The high-temperature magnetron bearings are mainly used in the high-powered anode x-ray tubes, of which the characteristics of the environment are: vacuum (1*10-6), high temperature (the maximum 550℃) and solid lubrication. The materials are usually Cr13Mo4V, Cr4Mo4V and etc. High-speed tooth drill bearings are mainly used in the turbine assembly of tooth drill hand piece, of which the characteristics of the environment are: the atmospheric pressure of 0.25mPa, high-speed (300,000~400,000r/min), low-noise (below 70db) and drip lubrication. The high-speed abrasive drill bearings are mainly used in high-speed hand-held abrasive drill assembly. The characteristics are low-noise (below 60db), can be used in surgery (physiological saline, body fluid and blood), high-speed (5,000~100,000r/min) and fog lubrication. There are two structures of high-temperature magnetron bearings: deep groove ball bearings and full complement ball bearings. Special high-temperature lubricating grease is used, and it contains particles of MoS2 and PTFE. The lubrication can also be made by plating silver on the surfaces of bearing and cage, or coating on the surface of bearings. The structures of high-speed tooth drill bearings and high-speed abrasive drill bearings are generally deep groove ball bearings with single or double shields. The edible oil lubrication or fog lubrication are used.
