OSTAMI Reinforce Skill Testing Work among China Industrial Enterprise

Recently, OSTAMI(Occupational Skill Testing Authority of Machinery Industry) begun to lay more emphasis on the occupational certificate of specific technical staffs among Chinese industrial enterprises. Up to now, there are great number of technical staffs working in certain positions without the needed occupational certificates. This problem has troubled the OSTAMI since it occured. Now, the OSTAMI has determined to change the situation and aimed at having over 30,000 staffs become certificate technical staffs in 2006. They will strengthen their testing and training work in more fields, such as cable, auto, transformer, bearing etc. Also, they will open new testing programs for those who worked with meters, farm machines, machine tools, engineering machines, generator equipments, welding devices etc. The OSTAMI hope that people engaged in the industries that just have been involved in the new testing programs could actively take part in the occupational skill test. Meanwhile, they want to have over 5000 staffs passed the test by the end of 2006. In addition, OSTAMI will continue their training courses of professional executives and assessment of enterprise's general management.
