1st Quarter Bearing Export Statistic in Guangdong Province

Customs statistics shows, during 1st quarter bearing export in Guangdong province were 9.83 million sets, being worth $8.61 million, increased by 10.3% and 40.6% respectively from the same period last year. Average price of exported items were $0.88 per set, 27.5% higher than last year. Price of bearings exported to US and India were soaring. Temporarily, there were no bearings exported to Ukraine during the 1st quarter. Bearing delivered to US were 367,000 sets, declined by 52.6%. Average price of exported items were $2.67 per set, 1.8 times higher than last year. Bearings delivered to India were 54,000 sets, 1.7 times more than last year. Average price of exported items were $1.68 per set, increased by 8.9%. Bearings made in Guangdong province were mainly exported to Hong Kong, Singapore, Taiwan and other Aisian countries. The export quantity were 2.711 million sets, 1.872 million, 1.141 million sets respectively. Bearing exported througn general trade were 6.373 million sets, increased by 5.7%. Average price of exported items were $0.89 per set, increased by 3.8%. Those exported through processing trade were 2.038 million sets, increased by 7.1%. Average price of exported items were $0.27 per set, increased by 15.6%. 90 percent of the exported bearings in Guangdong were ball bearings that had been lodged antidumping investigation in foreign countries. Exported ball bearings were 9.365 million sets, increased by 7.2%, accounting for 95.3% of the total bearings being exported from Guangdong in 1st quarter. Average price of exported items were $0.8 per set, increased by 17.6%.
