Zhuzhou Gear Plan a Automobile Transmission Base

Recently, Zhuzhou Gear Co.,Ltd has identified the design paper of their new workplace of their car transmission project. It is estimated that the project will start from August this year and its capacity of manual transmission will be increased by 100,000 sets by the end of this year. From 2008 on, when the project will be finished, annual income growth produced by supplying made-to-order products are going to exceed RMB200 million. Mr. Li jianhua, general manager of the company, said that they will manage to realize their target in 2008 to increase annual capacity of manual and automated transmission to 400,000 and 100,000 sets respectively and become the leading base of car transmissions in China. It is reported that this transmission project will be located in Liyu Industrial Part in Hexi High Tech & Development Zone, Zhuzhou city, Hunan province. Covering an area of 300mu(1mu is equivalent to 666.6 squre meters), the project will cost the company over RMB650 million. After its formal operation, annual sales growth will be over RMB1.6 billion, annual profit over RMB130 million. Zhuzhou Gear Co.,Ltd was formed by Torch Automobile Group Co.,Ltd and Zhuzhou Gear Stock Co.,Ltd in 2002. They mainly produce automobile transmission, transfer case, idling gear, spiral bevel gear etc.
