LYC Bearing Develop Bearing for Finishing Block

Recently, the finishing block bearing developed by Luoyang LYC Bearing and Shougang Group had passed technological examination by China Metal Academy(CMA). According to the CMA experts, this bearing has reached the international level, putting China the third country who can produce bearings for high speed wire rod finishing block. This bearing is a critical component of the wire rod finishing block. High rotating speed of the finishing block require bearings with great load capacity and punch resistance. In past, it cost much for domestic enterprises to import such bearings. In order to break the foreign monopoly, Luoyang Railway Bearing Co.,Ltd(now has renamed as Luoyang LYC Bearing Co.,Ltd) together with Shougang Group No.3 Wire Rod Subsidiary began to develop the bearings since 1999. Before passing the technological examination by CMA, the new developed bearing has been on trial in Shougang Group for over half a year. Machine equiped with that bearing has produced quality wire rod over 400,000 tons.
