LYC Bearing, Pooling Wisdom, Cutting Cost Technical staffs of LYC Bearing forging plant reduced the tolerance of an forging workpiece through improving processing craft, saving the plant raw material 13,122kg in a single quarter, worth RMB150,000. From the beginning this year, LYC Bearing has carried out an activity, pooling reasonable suggestions to improve performance from workers, in an effort to mobilize initiatives of workers and promote inovation, development and progress in technologies. This activity concentrated on innovation in enterprise management, energy conservation and improvement of equipment performance etc. creating an environment for everyone concerning cost reduction and benefit growth. In first-half, there have been more than 3000 valuable suggestions, 389 of which had been confirmed as the company's projects to be implemented in future. It is estimated that LYC Bearing could cut various cost by RMB30 million by the end of this year.
