China Develops Its First Snag Grinder China's first snag grinder, co-developed by SINOSteel Xingtai Machinery & Mill Roll Co Ltd and Tsinghua University, has started rolling. According to the developers, the HMK 180 CNC roll snagging grinder offers high performance at low consumption, so it is clean and environmentally friendly. It is also RMB20 million less expensive than its imported counterparts. It is expected that the new equipment can reduce China's long reliance on imported snag grinders.
