On Apr. 30th, Tao Xinshui, the inspector from Xiangtan City Government led the working team of “Hundreds Thousands Project” and visited Timken Xiangdian (Hunan) Bearing Co., Ltd. for inspection. The delegation has inspected the company and learned the development layout and management state to help the company to constitute plan and regulations and solve the problems on the spot.
Located in the Germany Industrial Zone in Hi-tech District in Xiangtan, Timken Xiangdian (Hunan) Bearing Co., Ltd. was established jointly by U.S. Fortune Top 500 Enterprise, one of the world largest bearing manufactures---U. S. Timken Company and Xiangtan Electric Manufacturing Co.,Ltd., which mainly manufactures extra large bearings used for the transmission spindle of wind power generators and is the 6th plant of U. S. Timken Company established in China. The construction of the plant was just completed and put on stream in the beginning of this year, planning to produce 90 sets each year. The plant will run at full capacity in the latter half of the year and the production capacity can reach 150 sets.
James, the General Manager of the plant has reported the basic situation of the company to the delegation led by Tao Xinshui and expressed the gratitude to the stress and support from the government. After learned the report, Tao Xinshui asked about the difficulties existing in the company and pointed out that the government will enlarge the support on the aspect of policy; the working team will do well the coordination work and provide better investment environment for the company; meanwhile, he stressed the each department will transform the function and provide better service to the company and solve their problems practically.
