Xinchang Bearing Industry Facing Good Development Opportunity

Recently, Zhejiang Provincial People's Government Office has released the list of the second batch of pilot demonstration zones for massive economic transforming into modern industrial clusters, and Xinchang bearing industry was in the charts.
In order to deeply carry out "Six Six Project"---the six systems construction including the marketing cooperation, products supporting coordination, financial service, logistics, industrial association and agent service as well as the six supporting projects including layout guiding, intelligence support, project driving, technology innovation, building up of brand, organization guarantee, further speed up the construction of demonstration zones for massive economic transforming into modern industrial clusters, on the basis of the report from the countrywide industries in the first half of the year, the provincial government have approved 21 industrial clusters as the second batch of pilot zones after the experts evaluation, the approval of Zhejiang Provincial Economic and Information Commission and Zhejiang People's Government. On Oct. 14th, the provincial government has held Working Meeting on Pilot Zones for Massive Economic Transforming into Modern Industrial Clusters.
Bearing industry is the important pillar industry in Xinchange. After 40 years' development, it has formed the cooperation and coordination among finished bearing products enterprises, supporting enterprises and bearing equipment manufacturing enterprises, benign interaction among enterprises, government and agents, as well as the active and distinctive industrial clusters. There are more than 1,000 enterprises in Xinchang county, manufacturing more than 1,000 types of bearings and the annual sales is up to 10 billion yuan and above. The bearing industry has taken up 20% in the all the industries in the county. The projects can not only meet the requirement of domestic market, but also exported to U.S., Sweden, Japan, South Korea, France and Italy,etc. Xinchang was named as "China Bearing County" by China Machinery Industry Federation in 2009.
