Shaeffler Signed Strategic Cooperation Agreement with NGC

Nov.8th, 2010---Recently, Shaeffler has signed strategic cooperation agreement with Nanjing High Accurate Drive Equipment Manufacturing Group Co., Ltd. (NGC for short) in Nanjing. Mr. Hu Yueming, the Chairman of the Board of NGC has Dr. Gou Jianhui, the Director and General Manager of Schaeffler Group Greater China were present and signed the agreement on behalf of the two parties. As a world famous transmission equipment manufacturer, NGC's products are widely used in metallurgy, construction materials, wind power, shipping and rail transport,etc., which have super competitive strength and are located in the dominant position in the domestic transmission equipment market. Bearing, as one of the key parts of transmission equipment, play significant role in the this area. As the global leading manufacturing enterprise of rolling bearings and linear motion products, Shaeffler Group has advanced bearing development aned manufacturing technology and has mature experience and application in transmission equipment field worldwide. The two parties agreed and believe that the signing of strategic cooperation agreement this time will provide solid base for achieveing the win-win of the two parties and impelling the progress of the two parties in the industry. According to the agreement, Shaeffler Group and NGC will carry out and enhance all-directional strategy cooperation in the future, including providing products and service for the present projects as well as developing new projects afterwards. Besides the enhancement of cooperation in the traditional area of NGC such as metallurgy, construction materials, shipping and rail transport,etc., the two parties will focus on the wind power industry.
