The Transformation & Upgrading of Bearing Industry in Cixi has made Great Achievements

Recently, Ningbo Economic Commission has published 《2010 Ningbo Special Program on Technical Transfromation & Upgrading of Equipment Manufacturing and New Products》,totally 21 projects in Cixi have been listed on this special program. It is said that this special program plans to invest 0.45 billion yuan of the fixed assets, the sales revenue could increase by 2.3 billion yuan after this program has been put into operation, meanwhile the profit could reach 0.3 billion yuan, and the tax could reach 0.18 billion yuan. Starting from this year, Cixi has fully implemented "The plan for improving the technical equipment level, boosting the industrial transfromation & upgrading", which made the significant achievements. Bearing is the traditional industry in Cixi, and it is an important aspect for accelerating the industrial transformation & upgrading to rebuild the improve the traditional industry. According to the relevant reports, the investment of technical transformation completed in Cixi bearing industry has reached 0.36 billion yuan in the first three quarters of this year. Among this special program, "The technical transformation project for annual output of 15 million sets of high-precision automotive bearing production line" from Huanchi Bearing Group Co., Ltd, projects from Ningbo Newland Bearing Co., Ltd and F & D Bearing Co., Ltd are all included in this special program. In order to make key technology of bearing industry reach advanced level at home & abroad and improve the core competency of leading enterprises, Cixi government has implemented the plan of technological catch-up and organized to make technological breakthrough among several leading bearing enerprises in Cixi City since this year. Finally, it has gained remarkable results.
