Bearing Steel Cooling Test Successfully Conducted in Hebei Iron & Steel Group Shijiazhuang Iron & Steel Co., Ltd 3rd Rolling Plant

Recently, Hebei Iron & Steel Group Shijiazhuang Iron & Steel Co., Ltd 3rd Rolling Plant has got success for its bearing steel cooling test. The rolling plant made test mainly for medium size Φ28 bearing steel, increased numbers of cooling facilities after the finished products had been rolled, so that make bearing steel rapidly cooled at resonable cooling rate, to minimize the residence time between 700℃-900℃ and better control carbide net level. At the same time, the surface hardness of bearing steel strengthened, scratches also reduced. With the depth carrying out of such test, the rolling plant accumulated more and more data & experience, thus to lay a good foundation in improving bearing steel's reticular tissue, meanwhile enhancing bearing steel's quality.
