Baosteel Truck Crankshaft Steel Sells Well in the Northern Region

Recently, news comes from Baosteel International North Company: In less than a year since it has entered the market, sales for Baosteel truck crankshaft steel increased from less than 100 tons per month in the beginning of the year to over 2400 tons in October, hitting the best monthly sales record. Total sales for the first ten months exceeds 10,000 tons, exceeding the annual target. Truck crankshaft steel is the key part of diesel engine and it has strict requirements on the material tensile strength and cutting capacity. With optimizing the product structure and improving market competitiveness as the goal, Baosteel explores and makes breakthrough on truck crankshaft steel R & D work at the end of last year and gains mass production capacity. In order to open up the market, North Company chooses one of key users within the industry as its starting point and through several technical exchanges, the product quality is effectively guaranteed. Especially, since the second half of the year, cooperating with the Steel Pipe, Bar and Tube Branch, North Company develops three crankshaft steel personalized products adapted to the customer's production features and quickly occupies the market. In addition, North Company coordinates production and logistics units well and ensures delivery. With integrated cost-effective advantages, the customer eventually puts Baosteel into its procurement system as its main crankshaft steel supplier. At present, after being processed, Baosteel's products are approved by a part of diesel engine manufacturers.
