Recently, news comes out from Baosteel Co.,Ltd. 1580 hot rolling line EIC system renovation quarterly promotion meeting and annual summary meeting: 1580 line rough rolling EIC system monomer commissioning is accomplished and construction is completed three months ahead of deadline. Baosteel Co.,Ltd. 1580 production line EIC-system renovation is Baosteel's first hot continuous rolling system fully self-integrated renovation project. The project is difficult, has a wide range and carries high risk.
Since 2009, the team composed of Baosteel Co.,Ltd. Hot Rolling Mill, Equipment Division, Research Institute, Baosteel Engineering, relevant functional departments of Baosteel Co.,Ltd. carries out integrated management on quality, schedule and cost. This year in particular, the design team integrates design, manufacturing and construction; blends software development, debugging and production, combines scientific research and engineering, and effectively promotes the smooth development of the project.
Next year the project will be put into use. Based on the principle of precise planning, fine engineering, precise control, quality system, excellence, and quality production, the project team will continue to maintain personnel management consistent system, do all kinds of planning, enhance debugging process rapid response and management real-time performance in project management, shorten climbing period, reach the goal as soon as possible, strive to build a domestic fully self-integrated hot continuous rolling EIC-system production line of the highest comprehensive level, and cultivate and foster a workforce with highest domestic EIC-system skill.
Zhou Jianfeng hopes that team members can make a systematic summary of project management and technological breakthroughs, so as to promote and transplant it. "In next year, we should make full preparations, make thorough plans, so that the whole project can make positive contribution in the stable production and creating benefits after the project is systematically put into use.
