The Largest Specification Nickel-based Alloy Casing and Tubing Made by Baosteel Successfully Goes down the Well

Recently, good news comes from Sinopec Southwest Branch, the domestic largest specification, highest grade, hermetically sealed nickel-based alloy casing and tubing ( 193.68 mm × 12.7 mm BG2250-125 BGC casing and tubing) made whole process by Baosteel successfully goes down the well in the northeastern Sichuan Yuanba Area. So far, Baosteel nickel-based alloy casing and tubing products are in full application in northeastern Sichuan, replace the imported products and save a lot of oil extraction costs for customers. Northeastern Sichuan is Sinopec and CNPC's key development area in recent years, but it has complex well conditions and high level of corrosive gas. Therefore, there is urgent need for nickel-based alloy casing and tubing high-end products localization. The "double high" casing and tubing is put 6600 meters underground in Yuanba 272H well. As the geological condition is complex, Baosteel technical staff provide full technical service to ensure the successful going down. After eight hours of work, all the casing goes into the well at one time.
