Recently, Shijiazhuang Iron & Steel Co., Ltd has successfully developed carburized bearing steel G20CrMo for the domestic well-known bearing plant to manufacture heavy-duty automobile bearings with greater impact load. Except for high hardness, wear-resistance, high fatigue strength, good dimensional stability, bearings produced by carburized bearing steel also has high toughness. Therefore, users put forward strict requirements for non-metallic inclusions, acid leaching tower hairline, low magnification quality, chemical composition range and other quality indicators. Based on this, developers formulated detailed processing measures, meanwhile steelmaking plants and rolling mills strictly implemented. As a result, carburized bearing steel G20CrMo successfully trialed and smoothly delivered.
