"Mayor Bearing Quality Award" in Wafangdian City Now in the Site Assessment Stage

In order to improve the management level of bearing manufacturers, the experts of the national review group for "Mayor Bearing Quality Award" organized under the leadingship of the Bureau of Quality and Technical Supervision in Wafangdian, visited Wafangdian city to perform the inspection and audit to eight bearing manufacturers over the city. As of press time, the first Wafangdian "Mayor Bearing Quality Award" has officially entered the site assessment stage.
The accreditation activity of "Mayor Bearing Quality Award" will be implemented in accordance with the "State Criteria for Performance Excellence through Quality Supervision", and the materials reported by bearing manufacturers in Wafangdian city for inspection. For now, eight bearing production enterprises have been allowed to enter the site assessment stage through careful screening of the national experts identified. The expert group will carry out comprehensive and systematic inpection and assessment based on the aspects including the process management, process output, organization leadership, strategic management, resource management and operating results of the bearing manufacturers, and according to the materials reported by these enterprises for inspection, site visits, etc. In the meanwhile, the expert group will also communicate with the bearing manufacturers about their business advantages and room for improvement, and offer objective appraisals to their excellent performance.
It is reported that, the "Mayor Bearing Quality Award" is the highest quality honorary award established by Wafangdian Municipal People's Government, and granted to the bearing enterprises achieving excellent performance within the administrative area of Wafangdian City. The award is a annual event, and only five companies can be awarded each time.
The period of the accreditation activity is from February 29 to March 15.
