Recently, Baosteel Engineering&Technology Group Baosteel Casting beats many peers in fierce competition and wins the world's 2nd FINEX furnace cooling wall manufacturing contract. It is understood that the contract represents the highest level of cooling wall manufacturing. The FINEX hot metal production new technology is first designed by South Korea's POSCO. Compared with the traditional blast furnace-based hot metal production method, the FINEX production process has the advantage of simplicity, efficiency, cleanness and low energy consumption. Prior to this, the world's first FINEX cooling wall is made by South Korea's POSCO. In recent years, Baosteel Casting continues to strengthen technological innovation and, on the basis of the long-term exploration and practice, forms the world's fourth-generation cooling wall manufacturing advanced technology with its own characteristics. Compared with similar technologies, the fourth generation cooling wall manufacturing technology has higher value/cost ratio. Especially, the cooling wall product lifetime is over 20 years, greatly improving the efficiency of blast furnace production. During bidding process, Baosteel Engineering Overseas Business Unit, Baosteel Casting, Baosteel Howa Trading collaborate well. On the one hand, they positive publicize Baosteel blast furnance cooling wall manufacturing advanced technical performance and process characteristics, as well as the application situation among global high-end users. On the other hand, they make full use of scientific and flexible financing and fast response. In the end, they win FINEX cooling wall manufacturing supply contract which weight 1594 tons. After gainning the order, Baosteel Casting is working hard to develop and optimize a complete set of manufacturing plan and strives to deliver in September with the best finished product quality
