The 7th China Charity Award is announced yesterday, and Baosteel is awarded as ' The most caring donation enterprise' in 2011,this is the third time for Baosteel received the China Charity Prize.According to the statistics,last year Baosteel has already donated round RMB 60.877 million

Last year,Baosteel carried out caring series activity of Expo Seed around scheme of caring social. The activity is divided into three phases,run through a whole year,is actively support by employee of Baosteel,vigorously spread the public culture.Baosteel has donated 8 million to Shanghai Elderly Foundation for the last four year,which is used for apartment improving project for the elder in Shanghai.The project enhance the safety convenience and comfortableness of living condition of elder by installing the skid proof handle,skid proof floor and safety alarm device,refreshing electrical application and purchased furniture for elder.The Baosteel Industry Service Company which is a subsidiary company of BSEE is the first group to take part in the project of taking care the children of rural worker,Until now ,compnay has already provided 50 opportunity of mechanical fitter and maintenance electrical,and invested round 100 thousand of training fee.The Baosteel Education Foundation which has already established 21 years has invested 9.43 million for praise 1212 outstanding facilitys and students of 107 colleague and 18 research institution which are subsidiary of China Science Institution
Baosteel has carried out several poverty-relief project in appointed area for many years.From 2004,Baosteel has carried out poverty-relief project in Puer,Mojiang,Jiangyu and Zhenyuan in Yunnan Province and invested 80.387 million for 234 poverty-relief project ,it covered 29 towns ,171 villages.For the 10 years of supporting Tibet ,Baosteel has supported Zhongba,Tibet in variety aspect of personnel and capital,dispatched 4 to 8 leading person to Tibet for carrying out work.From 2002 to 2011,total amount of project for Tibet is 88,total investment is 133 million.In Guangdong,Baosteel has actively taken part in the activity of GuangDong poverty-relief Day for the last two year.total invest RMB 3.70 million for construction of local project purchase social elderly insurance for 3000 poor village in province,and help the settlement working for the village which is not suitable for living.For that,Baosteel was awarded the third prize of'Guangdong Poverty -relief Award'
