Counterfeit Bearings Seized in Shandong Province

On March 12, 2012, a machinery company declared Tapered Roller Bearings weighing 667 kg in the general trade pattern to Liuting International Airport Customs. Through routine inspection, customs officers found a wooden box was filled with bearings labled with various world famous brands, which were identified as counterfeit goods through verification of IPR owner, with the case value of 60,000 yuan. It is the nineth bearing infringement case detected by Liuting International Airport Customs since 2009 when they first seized counterfeit bearings, and a total of 7740 sets of infringing bearings have been seized so far, with the cumulative case value of 244,000 yuan.
