33 Sets of Infringing Export Marine Spare Parts Seized by Nanjing Customs (fig)
On March 15, Nanjing Customs, subordinate to Jiangyin Customs, found 33 sets of cylindrical roller bearings suspected of infringing "NTN" trademark rights with the total value of 13,860 dollars when checked among ship spare parts for off-port ship repair declared for export by a company.
Confirmed by IPR owner NTN Corporation, Nanjing Customs detained the batch of export marine spare parts and initiated an investigation on March 27. This is the first intellectual property right infringement case since launching of " Country Shield" action by Jiangyin Customs, and also the first intellectual property right infringement case detected by Nanjing Customs in the export ship supply channel. At present, the case is under further investigation.
